15 June Paper Submission Deadline Extension

We are delighted to announce that due to high demand, the paper submission deadline for the HydroMediT 2026 Congress has officially been extended until  15 June 2026!

The 6th International Congress on Applied Ichthyology, Oceanography and Aquatic Environment, will be held on 5-8 November 2026 at the premises of the University of Thessaly in Volos, Greece.  

Under the theme “Sustainable development of Mediterranean aquatic ecosystems & resources under climatic change”, this year’s Congress will examine the escalating impacts of climate-driven stressors on marine and freshwater systems throughout the Mediterranean basin.

Emphasis will be placed on advancing evidence‑based strategies for ecosystem protection and sustainable resource management. The Congress will underscore the critical role of integrated scientific research, technological innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration in enhancing ecosystem resilience, conserving biodiversity, and ensuring the long‑term, responsible utilization of aquatic resources.
