Guidelines for Presenters

General information

Congress platform: This year’s Virtual Congress will be held on the Zoom Video Conference Platform

Presentation file type: You can use the Portable Document Format (.pdf) or PowerPoint (ppt.) for your presentations. These should be uploaded on your desktop (or any other suitable position on your computer before your session). When it is your turn to present, you will be asked to just share your screen!

You may find here the presentation background for your presentation:

Please make sure you have logged in at least 15 minutes before your presentation starts.

Duration of presentations

  1. Oral presentations: can last up to 13 minutes + 2 minutes for discussion
  2. Poster presentations: can last up to 3 minutes + 1 minute for discussion

For your poster presentation, it is strongly recommended that you prepare a short Power Point presentation so that you can share effectively the information and data included in your paper.

You will be presenting by sharing your screen, so keep in mind that most attendees do not have large screens and they should be able to understand and read what you are presenting.

You are not expected to prepare an actual poster file, as you would have done for a live congress. Posters will not be uploaded or printed.

As a poster presenter, you are additionally offered the possibility to pre-record your personal presentation and send it by e-mail, in advance, or play it on the time of your presentation. You still need to be present online and participate in the discussion.

The login details will be sent by email within the next days to all presenting authors who have completed their registration.
